How To Zero Trijicon RMR Type 2?

1. Remove the RMR from your firearm: Firstly, make sure your firearm is unloaded and remove the RMR from the top of your slide.
2. Set the adjustment dials to the center position: Secondly, on the RMR, there are two adjustment dials (elevation and windage) located on the top and side of the sight. Lastly, turn these dials until the white center lines align with the white dots on the body of the RMR.
3. Mount the RMR back on the slide: Reattach the RMR to the top of your slide using the correct mounting hardware.
4. Adjust the elevation: With the RMR mounted back on the slide, take aim at a target and fire a test shot. If the shot landed above or below the center of the target, use the elevation dial (located on the top of the RMR) to adjust the aiming point up or down. Each click on the dial will move the aiming point 1 MOA (Minute of Angle) in the desired direction.
5. Adjust the windage: If the test shot landed to the left or right of the center of the target, use the windage dial (located on the side of the RMR) to adjust the aiming point left or right. Each click on the dial will move the aiming point 1 MOA in the desired direction.
6. Repeat as necessary: Continue adjusting the elevation and windage dials until your shots are hitting the center of the target. It may take a few adjustments to properly zero your RMR.
7. Confirm your zero: Lastly, after locking the dials, fire a few more shots to make sure your RMR is still zeroed. If necessary, make small adjustments to fine-tune your zero.
